5 months 6 days agodurbs post=906687 userid=3227Definitely improving this young jockette
She won that inaugural international jockette race at Kenilworth 1st time out on a race course 20 months ago long before starting work riding and then becoming an appie.
I actually met her in a dog park near Kyalami about 2 years ago... she said she was an avid show jumper however did not disclose that her Dad was involved in racing as an owner....but asked me where she could find a riding hack....I told her to go to Rantjiies and ask trainers for some advice.....

Last two favourites to win and put some sanity back in the punters head.
A big day for the bookies starting off in the 1st with the 4-10 getting beaten who most probably would have been in plenty doubles and trebles.

I think they will all have to beat Echo Check - but after Beira nothing would upset me; I am going Rock of Bismantova to upset

If you had listened to Fabian Habib's runners comments today you would have been in deep shit.....both his runners that had excellent winning chances couldn't find a place. But most trainers are bad tipsters anyways.
The jockey I take seriously for his comments is JP Van De Merwe and lately Craig Zackey.
