Very competitive racing. The wind is fresh. Thankfully not as hot as yesterday where it touched 38C. I've given some ratings for those without official MRs.
Race 1 I gave Playing Trix a 75 for her improved second run so looks better ew value than Panjandrum (78) at 5/1 vs 18/10
Race 2 Madra Rua (88) should win comfortably, although some nice youngsters. Kliptown (I bred and raced the dam, Freedom Charter) good debut (79) and plenty scope for improvement worth a little place bet at long odds.
Race 3 Blue Lagoon gets the plum draw, so could edge out Destiny's Dream (79) and Gin Palace
Race 4 This is quite strong. Zagreb (84) gets the vote ahead of Protector of Peace (83) , Ceasar's Ransom (80) and Fortune One (79). Protector of Peace is the value at 5/1
Race 5 If Mon Petit Cherie is fit enough then she is weighted to win comfortably. If not, then Scarlet Macaw and Miss World should be too strong for Gimme What I Want at the weights.
Race 6 Very open. Maybe the bottom weights One Liner and Masterofthedesert slightly preferred
Race 7 Very competitive with some very nice fillies with scope for improvement. Gimmeanotherviking tough draw, but could be anything, and Call Me Secret looks promising and could be the value at 12/1. Calanque and Showgirl obvious inclusions.
Race 8 Competitive. Siriano, Commmanding and Umzingeli Wenyathi my shortlist
Race 9. Not much separates Boozy Susie, Lady Veritas, Girl Magic and Call of the Karoo with a slight preference for Susie. Mighty Mary has a tough draw but is probably better than rated given what Reet Pettite did next time out.
Race 10 Greek Heiress is the one to beat. Iona Castle (77) is a lively danger, followed by Little Nimbus and Delaroche
