VAAL NOW TURF INSIDE

Please note that tomorrow’s Vaal race meeting (27/11/25)has been relocated to Turffontein, on the Inside Track.

The Vaal received nearly 100 mm of rainfall yesterday and remains waterlogged, while Turffontein recorded only 0.5 mm. 

At this stage, the Turffontein Inside Track is raceable, despite rain forecast for today and tomorrow.

Voluntary scratchings will close at 11:30am today.

Race times remain unchanged.

Distance changes are as follows:

•⁠  ⁠Races 4, 5, and 6 - 1450m
•⁠  ⁠Race 9 - 1000m

My donkey for the day is in race 8 : Time for charity 25/1 , form is fairly consistent and keeps dropping in the ratings , will pop up one of these days 

Race 6 : Blizzard Quest 14/1 looks worth an eachway , ran twice with Jan van goven who is rumored to be unbeatable on the weekend , hopefully this one can frank the form today 

No videos on Gallop or 4 Racing YouTube channels for today yet

Most difficult with big fields and the weather might interfere - if the weather holds, I like Kavomolka (danger imo Indian Spice); in the 4th I fancy Lady Sabrina (Cape Saffron a danger); in the 5th Fair Proposal well weighted from a good draw; in the 6th one could do worse than Blizzard Quest and Drivelikeamaster; does get more difficult apart from Manyeleti (ridiculously short imo)
