Summer Cup successful day 👏💪👍

I must say that apart from the normal difficult results on a big race day, this year's Summer Cup had a great vibe and is certainly on the upswing. 

Well done to everyone who made the day a successful event..

I was in the Turffontien room and tried to get around as much as possible but the legs 🦵 and eyes 👀 were battling a bit.


The food and service was 5 star and the visuals on big screen were world class. 


Some racing Highlights were Hazy Dazy winning for Rob and Stergio and well done to Trent Mayhew 👏 

Well done to Candice with Trust beating Jan Van Goyen and looking forward to the Guineas in a couple of weeks. 
Got a bit relief from Molly when Aladdins lamp won 👍

Constitution Hill again disappointed
The fighting fifth was a great race for the bookies.

Lossiemouth should win Champion Hurdle. 

Let's not forget the Hollywood horse IL ETAIT TEMPS runs at Sandown on Saturday in the Tingle Creek. 

The Japan Cup was won by Calandagan in a very exciting finish .

Ryan Moore is back in action. 

Looking forward to Cape Racing on Saturday and still have no doubt that Golden Palm will win the fillies Guineas.

The next time you see him it will be on the flat as he is far too good a horse to retire just yet 

Yes Chicken a difficult choice for the ex Champ 

Not too absurd, a jumper did win a Breeders’ Cup this year.

I was very impressed buy the on course vibe it was festive lots of games like the golf putting thing one lady just missed her attempt and went again and got it but you only get one chance so she wasn't a winner 😞 from race 4 onwards the summer garden and most of outside lacked commentary sound and there was no sound for post race interviews but by then I was done for any ways 🤣 watching the horses parade with some people we met there and studying the book with them all putting our input I managed to concoct a few swingers in the last 2 and broke even just about 😅 for me thats what its all about and I'll most certainly be attending in season more often
