Expelled politician naming horses after political parties

How the feck have the NHRA allowed this to happen?.. Disgraceful

No it's a party he started...has a horse running ...5A M C Voter Kumaran Naidoo



How on earth can this be allowed...we have political killings in SA so why should a horse be burdened with that name...Will the NHA allow a horse called Don't Vote ANC or Dumb DA or Nazi Warrior....they did not do research it seems....

So the NHRA have broken at least two of their rules

UNACCEPTABLE NAMES
The Chief Executive may refuse to register a name, or cancel the registered name:
− Names in bad taste or which have an unacceptable connotation in another language;
− of a horse where the name, either on its own or in the context of the sire and/or dam’s
name: is suggestive, scandalous or has a vulgar or obscene meaning; is considered 
to be in poor taste;
− which may be offensive to, or appear to harass, humiliate or disparage, a specific
− which refers to an individual or a religious, political, ethnic or other group;(AMC VOTER  runs Sunday)
− which is prejudicial to the image or interests of racing;
− which has the potential to create controversy under current social standards;
− which rhymes with, or the pronunciation is similar to, other names or words which are
− unacceptable;
− which is a synonym for other names or words which are unacceptable;
− that may cause conflict with wagering or racing terms and/or that have the potential to
cause confusion for racing administration, and racegoers will not be accepted. This
includes features of a racecourse, such as FINISHING POST, wagering terms, such
as TRIFECTA, Names of races, such as GOLDEN SLIPPER;
− containing multiple words run together if it is difficult to decipher;
− which has a commercial, artistic or creative significance including but not limited to the
names of well-known organisations, companies and brands; ( AMC COOKWARE etc)
− which is a registered charity, company or business name; or
− which is, or contains, a registered or common law trademark, or is the subject of a
pending application to register a trademark.

NHA very quiet..... record times being run every week that are pure fantasy, names which transgress the rules........ I waited two and a half months for a reply regarding partnership colours until Stephanie in Durban stepped in to help because there was no reply from JHB.

Phoned today at 16h20 and went straight to message service.

I absolutely stand by my belief that SA racing is as crooked and corrupt as our political system .... and is 98% UNPOLICED. Where did the 2% policing go .... to targeted individuals which the NHRA had issues with of course.

Every runner, every race ... random samples, jocks called in to explain their rides... provide input etc.

Why does SA racing have race finishes where the field is spread out over 150 metres at the finish line? 30% non triers, 10% freshening up runs, prep run etc. etc. yet punters do their tom trying to back these horses.

Boils my blood actually. The sport I love has turned into a mess!
