Star major won Daily news in a quicker time than previous 8 winners of the race . He will most probably go up to 124 merit rating after Saturday( handicapper should use Note to self as linehorse,  then all of the 4th ,5th, 3rd last, 2nd last and last horse confirm it by all running not more than one point above or under their rating) Happy verse will probably go up 7 or 8 points ..

4) Viva's Liberte if he makes it into final field , if he can get just a little cover he should run very well
5 ) Wishlist

Im a big fan of GRAND EMPIRE....He is a Quality horse and will easily see out the dista ce...But come sunday....EROLL FLYNN will whip him(and everybody else in that race!!!!)

after today i think the selection panel will have a problem filling 20 slots for the July.

I am down to 16 runners who deserve a place in the july.

Jubilee stakes probably wont be any better.

For the gurus here that do the math, a question..
If Plattner were to nominate Zeits at supps this week, considering Cup trial win, would it get in?
I presume it would be somewhere in the pecking order around where I salute you and Regulation were on the log.
So in the ‘next best’ category. Not debating how it would fare, just a query about chances of making the field?
Airways Law was the last runner to sneak in this way albeit through a very late scratching .. Zappatilas I think.
and also Jubilee today will have a play in those qualifying.. or not.

Pity GE didn't run in same race as EF....price on EF would've been so much better. The price he was was still ridiculous

The value horse has to be Mocha Blend but not sure what the weight will be with all the scratchings .
