If he skips clear at the top of the straight he may be hard to peg back....

Thoughts from the guest presenter ....
R1: Seems like the first-timer Scotch Again is hard to beat; Brigitte Anne is the market's second choice and tries the Poly but on her runs up in Gauteng, her form is not that great; Ubuntu of Peace according to the book was only a 7k yearling - has been gelded a year ago - so he must have his problems - could make the quartet pay
R2: Open Maiden and this looks difficult; Royal Sceptre first ime on Poly so might improve; Bourbon's Feast tries blinkers and he did run 2nd on the Poly over 1400; Quandura has the 4kgs off, but been ridden by de Melo before and he now takes the ride on the seemingly moderate Green Commander who has found betting support; Brightsunnyday tries the Poly again and Fourie keeps the ride; Captain T tries further and has a wide draw along with Cali Bullet - load up in the BP imo
R3: The first 2 on form and as per the betting looks to be De Vlugge who is on 4-timer this track and Perilla, but nothing seems to separate Perilla and Sovereign Grant; Bright and Brazen tries the Poly as well as Forward Motion, so who knows ? Juliet Tango might need further, while One Smart Cookie could prove dangerous with Fourie riding - who has won on this horse before
R4: This looks easier; Benny and Paul has Cape form,, so not to be ignored, while Coast of the Sun made a good debut over 1200 at this track; Impressive another not to be left out and looks capable
R5: As mentioned, I'm not a fan of Curious Girl; Douglas Dragon has found betting support after a stable change and is capable over the distance; Dance King is putting up another 1,5kg courtesy of Wes Marwing, who might cost him opposing Douglas Dragon again; Continental Express has won twice (from 3 starts) over the track and trip, while Saxon Dynasty looks capable, but de Melo again rides She's A Bomber - and then we have Ahead Of The Facts who has a big weight - not easy
R6: Wish List all the rage, but I think she has her work cut out to beat the 5yr-old mares Rainbow Lorikeet and Callmegetrix; the younger brigade seems Beach Verse and Keukenhof seems to be held by Wish List
R7: Note To Self has been prepared for this race I believe, but I Jan Van Goyen (if he gets the trip) and Star Major look the main opponents; Viva's Liberte and Happy Verse look held by Note To Self, while the filly Hazy Dazy might yet prove the ratings correct - but we don't know ....
R8: On the Poly again ... and this seems sure to suit Mystic Dancer and Whatastar with Captain's Star; Ruby's Rising has won over 1000m at this track and looks to perfer the 1200m ....
R9: Poly again ... Little Boy Blue takes a big drop in ratings and with Lerena riding and the tongue-tie should be competitive; this is open though - Black Frost, Gallic Victor, Winter In London, Grand Appeal and Definitely Yes all come into this race
Enjoy

I like Coast of the Sun in R 4. Has the bad draw to overcome but looks like a really nice horse in the making.
