It's Hollywoodbets Durban July weekend.
Much has been said about the perceived quality of this year's field, but that won't make any difference to the once-a-year punter. The Durban July remains the real thing.
Unfortunately, we won't be there in person this year. 😪
Expect big betting pools and potentially big payouts on what looks a very competitive card.

I actually prefer the UK racing on Saturday, where Aidan O'Brien and Ryan Moore look to have a terrific chance of landing the Coral-Eclipse at Sandown with Constitution River.

The Springboks – the real thing – take on England on Saturday. It promises to be another cracking Test match.
FIFA World Cup ⚽
France continue to impress, but there are plenty of favourites in action over the next few days. Accumulators could be the way to go.
We also have our July punters' competition. It only costs R100 to enter and is always good fun, with plenty of bragging rights up for grabs.
On the political front
Immigration is clearly a worldwide issue and a highly emotive subject.
However, the scenes of hatred and violence witnessed during the recent marches were deeply concerning.
Many around the world – and across Africa – will no doubt reflect on the lasting impact the ANC has had on South Africa.
