Race 5 a bit of a farce? at the Vaal.

I thought it was a brilliant ride from young Derrek David , wasn't impressed with his blue eye though. Nice dbl for the Kom Naidoo stable.

Did not see the race, but was told a great ride, my comments were pre-race, where a false start a few scratchings and would imagine it spoilt the chances of sprinters having to go back to the start.

Agreed , took a bit out of the runners. Even Hurricane Force disappointed me.

Gates all opened at the same time. Unless Hurricane was being held by a handler, it should never have been called a false start. Horse reared as gates opened
