who watched the end of tonights 20/20 game with W.indies. ? Windies need 4 runs off 2 balls.
2nd last ball, batsman hits ball they run 1 ( scoreboard shows 3 now required ) they return for the 2nd run - BUT BATSMAN IS RUN OUT.

scoreboard still shows 3 required off LAST ball........ surely the runs scored off a run out DO NOT COUNT ? should have reverted back to 4 required off 1 ball.

have i got this wrong ? or have ALL THE OFFICIALS SCREWED UP in the heat of the game ? please, what is the right answer ?

can you imagine this type of cock up in the world cup final 20 / 20.... could have ended up in giving the trophy to the wrong team ( assuming i'm correct )

If they crossed after 1 run and got run out making the 2nd run then the first run still counts !

Yes, provided the jockey isn't touching the ground then it is still a win as for cricket yes same rules apply to all games.

Gregbucks, have you not seen that video where the jockey is hanging onto the horses neck as they cross the line???? happened in the states I think...
