Life after Ascot

The next big event will be the OAKS and the DERBY on Sat the 4th of July.
Normally the Derby is the draw card but with English King a weak 7/2 fav in a open race.
The highlight could be the Oaks where the 1000 gns winner Love 18/10 meets the impressive Ascot winner Frankly Darling 3/1.
The ARC will be on the 4th October where the staying star Stradivarius will possibly run?
In my opinion, Frankie will ride Enable as the ARC will be too sharp for the staying champ.
Good Punting

Got to go with the Guineas winner Kameko in the Derby... he looks too good this year. Pinatubo franked the form on the weekend with a good Gr1 second and I think the 2400m will be right up Kameko’s alley, remembering he won a Gr1 mile as a 2 year old.
The Oaks is a great match as you’ve mentioned... and let’s not forget the Coral Eclipse on the Sunday where Enable starts among a few other good sorts.. nothing beats an English summer of racing 😁

It is all systems go for the Investec Derby on Saturday week according to Frankie Dettori after the superstar rider on Wednesday morning partnered favourite English King for the first time in a key piece of work before the Epsom Classic.
The dual Derby-winning jockey, who on Monday was confirmed as replacing Tom Marquand aboard the impressive Lingfield Trial winner, described his first sit on the Ed Walker-trained colt as “all very positive”.

In an interview after the P O W Stakes ,the presenters said that Pinatubo would run in the Sussex Stakes which is one of the top races at Goodwood.
The main annual Goodwood meeting is normally end of July /early August.
A O'Brien had a couple of winners at Ascot but a few major players missed out.
RUSSIAN EMPEROR at 8/1 appeals fothe Derby.
The favourite on breeding wouldn,t think he gets a true run mile and a half.
I could be very wrong::
