Aidan O'Brien is set to place his faith in Precise and Gstaad at Newmarket this week in an attempt to edge closer to smashing his own world record of top-level wins in a season.Despite agonisingly missing out on a third Arc with Minnie Hauk, the Ballydoyle magician pulled another two rabbits out of the hat at Longchamp on Sunday when completing a Group 1 double with his juveniles, the unbeaten Diamond Necklace landing the Prix Marcel Boussac and Puerto Rico scoring in the Prix Jean-Luc Lagardere.

son of legendary Ballydoyle number one jockey Ryan, is set to make his much-anticipated riding debut at Kempton on Friday when he partners  Valdorcia  for Godolphin and Charlie Appleby in a 6f fillies' novice  (4.05) .

For those playing UK .... Apprentice Lauran Young rides Tafsir in the first at AYR. Currently 8/1. Although I am not too taken by her other ride for Jim Goldie I took the four way double as the money has come for the one in Race 6... Uncle Liam. (I actually prefer Harswell Duke(10/1)  in R6 ..)

Some nice Group racing at Newmarket today on the Rowley course. Aiden O'Brian brings 5 runners in only 2 races. I not a Soumillion fan but took the 11/2 on the O'Brien / Christophe double.
