Royal Ascot day 2/3/4/5
11 months 2 weeks ago - 11 months 2 weeks ago
Good morning all
I am just starting a new thread on Ascot from today Wednesday to Saturday.
We had a very nice surprise when family arrived from Scotland and a trip is planned to join the extended family in the Kruger area for a long weekend.
I might have a few signal problems 🤔 and hopefully catch a winner before the trip.
The coverage yesterday was superb and young Billy Loughnane winning on a 100/1 shot and the interview with his mum and dad was very special.
Rosallion beat Notable Speech easily in the big one
It's not easy catching a Royal Ascot winner and I am more hopeful than confident that Auguste Rodin can hit his best form
Illinois is another potential winner.
Thursday card looks a bit better where Whistlejacket can get the punters off to a winning start.
Diamond Rain is another potential banker.
The Gold Cup is a cracker where Kyprios looks best but many good horses over the 4000 mt race.
Good Punting 👍

Billy Loughnane is a name for the future as he has all the attributes to make it at the highest level and a special moment for his parents yesterday . The young lad looks like he should have been in a classroom yesterday never mind riding a winner at one of the biggest race meetings in the world!
Today is another tough day for punters with some nice juvenile events opening and closing the meeting. Both very open contests, young Billy has mounts in both events so maybe he can land another Royal Ascot winner ?
I fancy Inspiral to get the better of Auguste Rodin in the main race today.
Good luck and enjoy Day 2.

Israr was the only bet yesterday and at a very agreeable price. The rest of the card was just watched and enjoyed!
Today from the same stable prefer R5 INSPIRAL runs from a bad draw but she is proven.
Am aware that another O;Brien'"model of inconsistency" (Racing Post) runs but what can we do about that ?
