Elgar had a shocker in the 3rd test but did well in the other two
Amla was very poor but he is the best batter and we still won the series so he stays
Duminy at last showing his true form so he must stay
Faf stays
Bavuma very good batsman who is only going to get better so he stays

My suggestion is not to select AB for the first test and see how we go. If somebody fails twice in the first test then bring him in.
