Imo, this is a huge over reaction......teams have been spitting, rubbing and doing all sorts of things to the ball in the field since the game started....who says the Aussies were not doing it as well....just more discreetly.

I think Faf will have a good chance of a successful appeal due to the vagueness of the rule -
what is needed is a tightening / clarification of the rule - specifying exactly what is allowed opposed to what is not.

i would not even have AB back in the test team. Let him play his beloved IPL and other 20/20 comps and use him in the ODIs and 20/20 for the Proteas.
