The only positive you can hope for from this is that India will take it a bit easy against SA as the would already be in the semis.

India never ever take it easy biggysmall, the reason been is that if you go out cheaply or field poorly or bowl badly the selectors will just call up another player. India have 100s of players on the verge of getting into the side. No player will ever take it easy when they put on the Indian shirt as they are always under pressure to perform in order to keep their place in the team.

Ya, true. Just look at their reserve players...Ashwin, Rahane, Dinesh Karthik, Shami and Manish Pandey. Even with a full reserve side they will be tough to beat

Wasim with his left arm spin and Hafeez a part time right arm spinner conceded 70 runs in 18 overs against SA. Now imagine what Jadeja and Ashwin (he will play) are going to do on Sunday to the petrified Proteas. What a mess they have put themselves in. Yesterday Morris and Parnell (both think that they are express) bowled far too short and the runs that Parnell in particular gave away to the debutant ultimately cost SA the match and their place in the semi final, yet Parnell will be selected yet again come Sunday.

The Sri Lankans are putting up a good show here. Done better than I expected them to.
