One goal will decide the France - Nigeria match...
Very close from Benzema...that Nigerian goal-keeper is a star !!!

Goal was a long time coming...and the Nigerian goal-keeper makes the mistake after being brilliant for 80 minutes...

Luis Suarez has issued a statement apologising to Giorgio Chiellini and the "entire football family" for his bite on the Italy defender and promised "there will never again be another incident" like it, while Chiellini has accepted the apology and called on FIFA to reduce the ban.

This been an absolutely nerve wrecking ride getting the first three into the quarter finals, hopefully Argentina can put Switzerland away with a little more ease.
My quartet tote bet is still alive, however i worry about the quarter final clash between Germany and France, the Germans appear to have gone progressively backwards since their opening victory against Portugal.

Guessing has never been widely acclaimed as a good gambling strategy.

Swiss no mugs, keep Messi in check (easier said than done) and they will have a great chance of beating Argentina...

Swiss staying deep and playing for penalties or catching Argentina on break...20 minutes to hold on...
Argentina too reliant on Messi and he cannot carry team like Maradona did in his heydey...
...needs Di Maria and Higuain to step up and they have looked poor so far in the tournament...

Di Maria and Ozil, both international careers have gone backwards since the last WC. Di Maria has yet to put in one decent cross to at least excite the Argentinian forwards.
