Scotland will need to beat Ireland AND deny them a bonus point in order to qualify. If they manage it, the Boks will top the pool and Ireland will be oot.
However, a combination of a bonus-point win for Scotland and a losing bonus point for Ireland will leave all three sides on 15 points, meaning it will come down to points difference for the top spot and head-to-head for the second spot.
(Of course, the above scenarios depend on Scotland beating Ireland which will not happen 🙈 ).
Another applause from me for Portugal.

The Irish believe that they have already won the WC so it would be so good if Scotland beat them and knock them out this weekend It’s a difficult ask but not impossible

Tier 2 teams have no chance is referees continue to penalise them for situations where they are 55-45 on the right side...I am yet to see a marginal call go the way of a Tier 2 team when playing against those favoured...
Despite what NZ may think, there is no joy in watching anyone win by 60+ points...the one time NZ's defence was tested, they wilted and lost to France and the same could happen when they next face Ireland in the QF...where would their 60+ point wins have gotten them then? An early flight home...
And this World Cup is going to be decided by bad refereeing...

So Samoa score, conversion taken, then TMO gets involved. Try disallowed)

How is that allowed? Farrell must have been in the refs ear yet again. If it were at the other end the try would have stood.

Too many instances of blatant bias to mention...just add this to the list...
Second half will see more instances of England getting the benefit of the doubt to win comfortably...they'll score 30 in the second half...

Ireland are a good team but SA made a lot of self-inflicted errors and Ireland couldn't pull away from us...
I think the determining factor in the quarters will be the referee, assistant referees and TMO group...you have two matches in which a SH country is playing a NH country...majority of SH refereeing team, SH country wins...majority of NH refereeing team, NH country wins...sadly...

Argentina leading Japan 15-14 at half time with both giving it their all, this will go down to the last play of the match
