At this stage of his carrer he shouldstick to being a student acadamy(only joking) ,i was in Maurtius yesterday and called to listen to each race on the natal commentary line and put the phone on speaker were my maurtian friends were listening to the commentaries at the vaal,
This was the worst display i have ever heard from a race caller he leaves out half the horses in the race he waffles all the time about things nothing to do with the race and sounds terrible including mummbling his words.

Please bring back Smiley Moosa or adverise for fresh blood.

Shaheen you are fun to listen to on teletrack i like you as a presenter but you are just not a good commentator.

As randal and co say on Idols to the contetants you are absolutely awful Shaheen fits into that bracket.

Presenter, Yes. Commentator, not really.

Maybe he's got withdrawals cause his 'glory days' on ABC are no more.
Now he's got to behave himself, which is proving to be alien to him.

I remember SHANE Shaw in the beginning on IGN. He was silly ang giggly,which was irritating, but has matured to now be ,IMO,the best studio presenter.
I think he can up his game on commentary as well. I hope I'm right!

He just needs to focus and forget about the bets he has running or how to pay for school trips for his kid - leave that to Molly who has the personality to pull it off- he should remember that there is an eager audience out there that need FACTUAL knowledge not a bunch of his friends in a pub having a drunken punt- He has the more knowledge than some other presenters and will improve in leaps and bounds

By far the best studio presenter - only a true punter understands the emotions, highs , lows and info that us die-hards need. As a commentator he is refreshingly different and provides a variety that is much needed in a stereotyped and copycat world . Why must they all be machine gun merchants?

Firstly, most of us dont profess to be commentators.
That is longbeard's designated job and at this point he just dont cut it.
