It is widely used in Brazil and has had little effect as can be seen with the large amount of deaths there[/quote]

Lost a family member a few months back . He contracted Covid at work,
probably from the old man he sat and ate with at lunch breaks who died first with Covid.
The family member was admitted to a hospital. His wife also contracted
Covid.
She was taking Ivermectin at the beginning of the symptoms and recovered after 10 days. She attempted to give her spouse the treatment in hospital but was not authorized by the doctor and staff at the hospital .
When no progress was being made, the family transferred the patient to another hospital, a Mediclinic. Doctors and staff were told money was not an issue, that they must save the patient at any costs.
The wife who is obese and has underlying issues was able to visit at all times and was at the bedside when her husband breathed his last.
Her 27 year old husband's passing has left her as a young widow with a 2 year old son to bring up .

The president of Brazil has been highly sceptical about the need to take decisive action to tackle the Covid pandemic:
■ he has called Covid "just a little flu"
■ rejected a nationwide lockdown, saying such measures only made the poor poorer
■ called state governors and mayors who imposed lockdown "tyrants"
■ cast doubts on the efficacy and safety of jabs and said he wouldn't get vaccinated
■ joked the Pfizer jab may "turn people into crocodiles"
■ dismissed opportunities to purchase millions of vaccine doses
■ told people to "stop whining" about the situation

The UN health agency said there was a "very low certainty of evidence" on ivermectin's effects on mortality, hospital admission and getting rid of the virus from the body.
Facebook posts and articles endorsing ivermectin have proliferated in Brazil, France, South Africa and South Korea as governments around the world struggle with vaccination programmes.
The pandemic has prompted a surge in demand for the drug, particularly in Latin America.
But in an update to its guidelines on COVID-19 therapeutics, the WHO said: "We recommend not to use ivermectin in patients with COVID-19 except in the context of a clinical trial.
"This recommendation applies to patients with any disease severity and any duration of symptoms."

I just think there is very very little proof it works considering it has been used extensively in Latin America and cases continue to rise there - People should rather take vitamin D3 supplements or get into the sun - This covid acts differently for different people so that is perhaps why you cannot predict how you will react to it. But I am pretty sure there is no wonder cure ... It may be linked more to genetics than anything else ..

After being on a farm with no cares and no news.
I notice the UK are back to party times but concerned about SA strain.
Everyone on target re vaccine roll out except SA
Chile is 3rd on charts as far as jabs to its people but are having the biggest surge in Covid infection. ?
Scary times.......

Thousands across India are outraged after the government ordered social media platform Twitter to remove posts critical of its handling of the virus.

When will this Zondo commission ever get to a bottom line.
After all the statements made over the years against corruption etc
There were some cracking very strong statements Cyril made over the last few years, non where he followed through on his commitment.
When will Zuma get jailed and ACE get the boot?
They keep going around and around in circles, with no solutions or anyone ever getting brought to book.
I know the president must be under pressure but he has to rise to the occasion and take action rather than just be an ANC pawn.
Mind you, he probably knows the ANC will keep power no matter how inefficient they are or what level of theft he allows 😪
