These foreigners are most welcome in SA. Their country of origin in West Africa is the 3rd largest producer of oil in Africa producing about 1million barrels per day.

Imagine how much of Nairas will be injected into the SA economy will all the oil wells in their backyards.:silly:

It does'nt end here though.

.....so our ANC brightsparks suddenly make a plan and ride roughshod over immigration protocol and make an obscure Eastern Cape(former Ciskei) airport available to land 500+ of the UAE party and rumored trophy hunting in the region.....one has gotta wonder and ask who has influence in that area and has benefited personally from this not so publicized excursion....
......now I hear that the small hamlet of Port Alfred is the destination for an upcoming BRICS conference and was chosen so that it can be isolated from loadshedding...........again one has got to ask or are the investigative journalists not connecting the dots
.....what is going on in that area that happens to be the latest pull for our dodgy government.....wonder if they gonna use that airport again.....

I have trying to bite my tongue on this thread but that is a wonderful word to describe the performance of the ANC and we still have to brace ourselves for the financial Russian backlash.

I see it's been over a month since a comment.

We must all be happy?

The burning of trucks continues 🤬

Possible water shortages for Joburg as the cold spell moves us to higher power outages.

Cyril appears happy with his performance and what he has done to repair the damage done by his comrades.

Lets see what the BRICS summit brings. I see they want to create a currency that is GOLD backed. I must admit, this is probably the most sensible action I have ever seen a politician make in my life time.
No more play-play money like the $, and something that is actually backed by Gold can only improve things. I hope

Agreed, there is no war now or in the future so they can be made to guard key infrastructure instead of driving around harresing motorists.

*Update* regarding this Njala Sub outage is that the extend of the damage is huge due to this theft n vandalism.

There’s no option to back feed the affected consumers due to network limitations and overall safety of the network.

The line is temporary (Njala-Watloo line 1), where theres challenges with load and protection.

The replacement of multicore cables and rewiring of those arched/burned CT's will take long to repair.

Therefore , All support is needed to ensure the restoration of this outage is speeded up.

The transmission team will advise on ETR as the team still busy with drafting the scope of work, needs for spares and equipments.

Thank you.
