So clearly going on today's results, we had 7 months of trainers taking advantage of this rule, to the extent that we have a single jockey making enough money to support herself and future generations forever. At what point does this rule get scrapped, and we have her actually ride on merit. It has been 7 months and there is still no other female jockeys riding, so not sure what is the point of this farce rule?

One day the allowances will be meaningless as the only jockeys will be women.

Yesterday we had Deez congratulating Dennis Bosch on the tactical masterclass of deciding to take the 1.5Kg off to negate the MR increase after the last win. Great rule everyone involved. Really promotes fairness amongst genders in the sport.

Rachel is without this ridiculous claim one of the better riders in SA. In many racing people's opinion it is actually basically cheating to give her the claim. She finished her normal apprentice claim almost as fast as Lyle did. There are many many male jockeys who need it far more than she does.
