Clearly Durbs...with all due respect....u are clueless about HK Racing?!

About 50% of he horses he rides should never even be fav to start of with. The HK Punting Mob will back him even if he is riding a real donkey in a race #fact!!!! That is the status he holds there!!!! Legend!!! His amount of Titles...Wins ect are better than everyone in HK ever...period!!!!!!

So the Question is...To you...if he is a muppet, what does it make Dougie? Whose records he has improved. The only SA Jockey ill compare to him are Marcus and Lloydd!

i know you presenting the Stats...but surely you are not oblivious to the fact that HK is the biggest punting civilazation in the world...and that Purton,to them, is GOD.

please remember...i am no purton fanboy either:)

Have a good day and plz keep this up. I enjoy reading it from time to time

Firstly Heinrich HK is where I am most likely to make some money,so to say I'm clueless that's your opinion.
Secondly the stats for favourites winning is 1 out of 3 and yes that takes into account every 'false' favourite that punters come up with when it doesn't win.
At this stage Zac is sitting at less than 1 out of 4.
Sure he is a very good jockey....but what I'm getting at is that he is not a punters friend, that's exactly what I am trying to highlight.
The name of the game is making money and if he is sitting well below the threshold of favourites winning surely that tells you something.
I have seen this jock lose on a 1-10 before, not once but twice.

Heinrich you the self proclaimed HK expert....could you possibly point out to us in the next HK meetings which is Purton's 'false' favourites and which are the 'true' favourites?
And remember with Purton you will be right 3 times out of 4

Just on the topic itself ,think Striker pointed this out to bookies many times that the prices of his horses are too short and shouldn't be the favourite. One of the bookies that appeared on telly track stated that Striker must understand that when he sits on a horse he can improve those horses by 3 lengths .I think the same problem applied to Purton and basically all top jockeys .

That's the thing Elmo.If a jockey can supposedly improve a horse 3 lengths then why should the bookies not take that into account?
At the end of the day, taking all factors into account including false favourites,1 out of 3 favourites win.
Overall the bookies come up trumps in the end with how they structure the betting so it's up to us to decide if the price is worthwhile or not.
