Superb Spirit 4-1 I to 14-10.....Purton up and gives it a 3 or 4 wide ride the whole way and comes 4th.
The Muppet was 0.18-10....less than 1-5....to win the jockey challenge today.
After race 5 he is on 6 points with Badel on 30.
Yes he's got Ka Ying Rising coming up and another favourite but if Badel can win on Winning Ovation...18-10.. in the 10th I think he will lose the jockey challenge

If a certain ex jockey in SA was riding Ka Ying Rising I doubt if the horse would have won a single race let alone 19 on the spin

Or maybe it could have been 21 straight wins and might still be undefeated cause Purton did lose on Ka Ying Rising twice....one by a SH and the other by a nose

Badel coming 2nd and Purton running unplaced means the Muppet,at the odds of 1-5,has managed to lose the jockey challenge even before the last race is run

Speaking of ex jockeys , heard a rumor that Anton Marcus aka Superman , comeback is imminent , will be great to see one of the greatest back in the saddle

I was wrong,and not for the first time.
Unbelievably his 4th places actually benefited someone for once.
Him and Badel both finished on the same points with the same amount of wins,seconds and thirds but because he managed two 4th places,no points in the jockey challenge,he wins the jockey challenge.
