I think the top 2 is no value - Gimme Rules has to prove he has what it takes and Jan Van Goyen - we all know what happened last week to Golden Palm on her first run around this turn; Happy Verse imo the right one from Vapour Trail - and one can back both at current odds ....

I think a misprint - I think the top 5 only earn and from 6th it is 'appearance money'

What price would you have taken on either horse, Gimmie Rules and Jan Van Goyen? Reason i ask, there is a post above this, whereby the poster said at Soccershop they were offering 4/1 about Gimmie Rules, and earlier this week there was 4/1 available at WSB for JVG.

Somehow think Gimmie Rules opened 33/1 and those in the know snapped that up. Can't recall what price JVG opened.

Guessing has never been widely acclaimed as a good gambling strategy.
