Gimme Rules was in receipt of 4.5 kgs from Jet Force, his style of racing is similar to most Kannemeyer classic horses, compared from the back and acceleration to win going away. There is almost never a Kannemeyer horse that runs pillar to post. So this approach works when the horse is matured to the correct level and strengthened. This horse is no doubt a champion in the making. He just looked green and all over the place in the last 150m of the race. I think in 6 months we see the best of him, maybe the Guineas is just 2 months to early. Tin Pan Alley and Good for You look real value to me.

Or if he tightens up in time he could win unextended and hard held at the line

Re Gallic Victor .... May be that he is just not as good as the connections thought - everything pointed to the fact that he would win easing up (even market support) - still the fact remains that Coco's Hero gave him 2 kgs and beat him - unless something comes out in the wash re Gallic Victor post-race ?
