Voicemail doing the rounds at the moment paints a very scary picture, fighting with each other, neighbouring boxes having to be locked for safety

Just because you own a race horse doesn't mean you are expected to be better than the average peasants. Recent history has shown a number of owners to only afford a horse due to ill gotten gains. These peasants are much worse than your average honest peasants.

We can all have a drink but there are people who actually should not drink .
This is a classic example and they should never be allowed back on a racetrack and colours withdrawn.

The reports are shocking and a terrible image for racing.

Slap on the wrist

Mark Sham got a bigger fine for saying “ Shit”

P Kalil got a 10k fine, silks taken away ( bu suspended 😡)

And GC only banned for 6 months

He would have been executed in Dubai, and banned for life in every other country

Definitely deserves a harsher penalty. Also note we are in a pandemic.

If this was done by a normal punter, Gold Circle would have had the SAPS escorting him out and to the nearest jail. Charges would have been laid.

Amazing how quick this inquiry was held when the previous July incident has been forgotten.

Also the double standards regarding the fines imposed by NHA led by Jekyl and Hide. The sooner these 2 are gone our racing will thrive again.
I was fined R30 000 for saying s*@t in a meeting with 20 people present in a closed boardroom. The meeting was not disrupted as I left immediately.
Mr Kalil gets R10 000 for his altercation and taking alcohol into the parade ring in public and on TV. Would be interested in seeing who sat on this board ? Maybe the NHA and J and K have a grudge against the Lebanese..

Incidents like these does not reflect well on the leadership. It's no surprise, therefore, that racing finds itself in the situation that it is in. If they can't get the simple things correct, then....
