Guys,we have all together been involved in this thing for over 8 months now.
This second spike was always on the card.
Here in PE we have a resurgence of the virus but if we continue to take the precautions as directed i.e mask ,wash and distance which is what we have been doing then we will all get through this.
There is a vaccine on the way, where upon we can protect ourselves against this virus and its important that we are all together so we will be able to look back on it.
At the end of next year I will be 80 and I promise you that I am goingto be here to celebrate it.

Should auld acquaintance be forgot
And never brought to mind?
Should auld acquaintance be forgot
And days of auld lang syne?
For auld lang syne, my dear
For auld lang syne
We'll tak a cup o' kindness yet
For days of auld lang syne
We twa hae run about the braes
And pu'd the gowans fine
But we've wander'd mony a weary fit
Sin days of auld lang syne
We twa hae paidl'd i' the burn
Frae morning sun till dine
But seas between us braid hae roar'd
Sin days of auld lang syne
For auld lang syne, my dear
For auld lang syne
We'll tak a cup o' kindness yet
For days of auld lang syne
And surely ye'll be your pint-stowp
And surely I'll be mine
And we'll tak a cup o' kindness yet
For auld lang syne
And there's a hand, my trusty fiere
And gie's a hand o' thine
And we'll tak a right gude-willy waught
For auld lang syne
For auld lang syne, my dear
For auld lang syne
We'll tak a cup o' kindness yet
For auld lang syne
For auld lang syne, my dear
For auld lang syne
We'll tak a cup o' kindness yet
For auld lang syne

Ok watching TV has now become my biggest fear 😪😷

It appears second wave has been confirmed and if we ALL (including EFF) don’t behave ourselves, we could move back to a tighter lockdown.

Let’s not even discuss the various court cases and commissions that are being televised 🙈

The answers being allowed and accept must surely be illegal??
These people are under oath and they have “no idea when and if they are married”, “no idea why large sums of money are in my bank” etc etc

ANC losing control , the country is become a shambles.

Anyway, we always have our horses (possibly jumps in SA) 👎 nice thought but impossible.
Let’s have fun days at Randjies or even a few point to point, best option IMO

Good Punting 🏇🏻🥃

Ito the 2nd wave - have to admit I'm confused that apparently the minister suggested that 'large gatherings are to be re-considered' - well, how many people make up a 'large gathering' - I would have thought 500 +, but these gatherings are anyway not allowed under Level 1 - or so I thought

Another shambles affecting me directly is the planned 're-write' of the Matric exam papers (Maths II and Physics II, I believe) - have you ever come across such discrimination - 99% of the learners now have to suffer because of the authorities' inability to pinpoint the offenders - even if these offenders are only identified in another 6 months, they should then bear the consequences - but no, because of 'Quality Control' by Umalusi, (imo another classic case of the tail wagging the dog) the suggested solution is a re-write - a decision reached without consulting ANY Student body

And then when the court tells all sides to be ready for the cases to be heard (today), the honorable Minister (who imo should resign, as the buck stops with her ?) can't be bothered to submit her affidavits in time - bugger the public

In my matric year, 25+ years ago under the House of Delegoats, 6 of the 11 papers I wrote leaked and we were only informed when we pitched at the school to write...so all re-scheduled...does havoc to study time-table if you had one...

Also had a 2 month teacher sit-in - teachers (SADTU members) pitched up in class but taught no lessons - about 1 or 2 months before trials so whoever was "good' in a particular subject "taught" the other kids...we had adversity but we found a way to cope and overcome...current generation are so protected that even the slightest thing gets taken to the nth degree of offence...the whole world against them...

See the rewrite as an opportunity to improve wrongs in original writing of paper...and earn mark...

Let's agree to disagree - it's not about someone being protected - I can never condone any action where 99% need to be 'punished' for the wrongs of 1% - also not sure where they will find teachers to monitor on 17 Dec - as the schools officially close on 15 Dec - or so I assumed
