There is some element of truth in what the (dis)honourable ex _hief in Chie_ says in that everyone has more rights (and conveniently ignore the responsibilities that accompany those rights) than they previously did and possibly an over-compensation for the previous subjugation of basic rights...

He cannot see irony though...it is the same "kids glove" treatment that he has abused to keep himself out of jail...

Can the public return to the race courses?
Guessing has never been widely acclaimed as a good gambling strategy.

Outdoor gatherings of no more than 250 people so we should be ok.

50 is a busy day in Cape Town

Sure there will be a press release later from the NHRA

I don’t see an issue with all regions being allowed to race

Sure Kenilworth, Turffontein and Greyville could cordoned off areas and have areas where people can attend ( not like the old days 🤪)

Only reason i ask, would like to attend the 2022 Met, so our gang is planning in advance. Would imagine much more than 250 would attend the Met.

Hopefully you will be fine by then.

The issue is the big brands are not willing to sponsor events with the risk of being attached at super spreader events.

But I think by this time next year events like the Met will be back close to capacity

We have had a rough 12 months here in PE.
Lot of guys have lost their jobs, our tourism has gone south and our council has been fighting instead of working, thats on the rare occasion they meet.
The city looks a mess with many potholes and rubbish strewn all over the place.
The crime rate is high and Covid we could have done without.
To add to it our rugby team,EP,had their first game for a year and lost 81-10.
The Warriors cricket team lose more than they win but Chippa win a few games.
At Christmas we were the Covid hotspot of the country.
We have come down now and reached Level 1and would you believe they have decided to change the name of our City along with Uitenhage,King and a few others.
Every body up in arms about it .
Gqerberha is supposed to originate from Walmer Township and there were two guys painting one of the houses in our complex and I know they live in Walmer Township,so I asked them about this name .Never heard about it.

Guy walks into O Tambo Airport and goes to Reservations and says "can you give me a return to Gerber......to quebahaba......Kooerbehaa.......F@$K it give me a ticket to George."

Among the many valuable things stated in your post, there is one slight correction...final score was 87-10 in the Bulls / EP match...

I use this post to keep me abreast with lockdown topics. Waiting with bated breath for the announcement that we normal racegoers can spectate.
