@ Farawaysaint. I note that the cost of this commision does not come cheap and a lot of bellyaching from the Government benches but the cost pales in comparison to SAA who can be chucked a few Billion as and when asked for.

Only reason I can assume is they are not sure who is next up to bat at the commission

Sharky many things with this virus don't make sense?

The UK have have twice as many deaths as SA approx same population.
The average person in UK is educated and they have hot and cold running water and electricity.
As vs SA many living in extreme conditions without water/electricity and basic sanitation.

It does not make sense unless reported numbers are incorrect ?

You can still buy drinks in UK but to be fair its not normal to take a panga to the local ๐Ÿ˜ข

Lets see if the truth ever comes out with this entire Chinese Virus ?

Lets just say it was a better day for SA going forward but we still have major problems ahead and we still have the ANC running the show.

CR is not calling the shots here.

Clue: Look at JACKSON MTHEMBU's replacement. She has a doctorate in Computer Science from the University of Johannesburg, and holds a masterโ€™s in electrical engineering. It's so obvious, I'm not going to spell it out.

SA was once a colony of the British Empire. Now, we're fast becoming a colony of the ***

I see WSB have priced up on the Annual Trivial Pursuit competition at ANC head quarters.

Xiaomei Havard 1/10
Bheki Cele 100/1

Other prices on request.

Mary had a little bug
The one they call Corona
She caught it at a catch up
with her pals Yvette and Shona
Who else was there?
I donโ€™t care
We have not been out for weeks
Now Shonaโ€™s blue and in ICU
Too breathless as she speaks

Mary had a little cough
She did not wear a mask
Instead she wore a sticker
Saying โ€œIโ€™m exempt, donโ€™t askโ€
Coughing up in the kitchen
As she played up the scones,
then a round of filtered selfies
Using all the girls I phones

Mary had a little bug
And now so does her Granny,
her boss, her son
His pal, his mum
Cos Mary is a dickhead

Concerns keeping getting raised in the media about a 3rd wave in South Africa because of the delays in Vaccine rollout.
Knowing how the ANC and their reactionary way of dealing with issues i would expect further lockdowns in the future. keep stock of booze and Smokes if u dont wanna go crazy.

Restaurant and the related sector look to be have a challenging 2021 ahead of them.

The excess deaths report from SAMRC for the week ended 30January is very encouraging. Another significant drop to 7000 for the week. Still very high but half of the peak a couple of weeks prior. Cumulative now at 132k. All provinces show sharp improvement

With all the doom and gloom at last we managed to get to Kloof to deliver the Christmas presents to a couple of very happy wee Grandkids.

We stoped over at Van Reenans after seeing the aftermath of a horrendous truck crash at Warden.

We also visited what I believe to be the smallest church ? Its a 15 seater and must have been designed with Covid in mind ๐Ÿ˜ข

Scotland beat England so a happy xmas lunch now planned.

Keep safe ๐Ÿ™
