Morning guys. I just spoke to a friend of mine that stays in mobeni heights 20km from durban apparently all the shops in that area where looted and then torched its apparently so bad that you can't even buy a bread there today. Sad sad state of affairs

According to reports our esteemed commander of the armed forces in south africa has deployed 2500 SANDF soldiers to help stabalise the situation. How many did he send to the DRC to look after the mining interests. How many did he deploy to lock SA up in March April 2020 History will judge this president harshly imo.

If one steps back and looks at where the looting and destruction and violence has / is taking place it can lead one to conclude that it is targeted at making persons of Indian and European descent "uncomfortable" and to disrupt a way of life...smacks of spite and racism but people who are racist are the first to project and point fingers...

Just setting the bar for the retribution that is sure to come to those thugs that are caught...and we have already seen examples of that...

Just all round sad...any anger should be directed at the thieving government but it is easier to scape-goat the hand that so often feeds than to look inward...
