@bayern...many thanks for replying...
"natural immunity" is acquired through exposure and your anti-bodies kicking in to defeat the infection...you do not acquire "natural immunity" without exposure otherwise your body will not know what it is fighting...
Some (mainly in the "at-risk" categories) who get infected do not have a strong enough immune system (insufficient antibodies produced to defeat infection) and hence die from the initial infection hence the expectation of no deaths is unreasonable...
If the immune system defeats the initial infection, you acquire natural immunity from future infection and variants of the initial infection...
The risk you take then is if your immune system does not survive the initial infection and therefore the "vaccines" assist the "at-risk" categories...
8 months in there is not enough data being made publicly available to know the side effects (if any)...a more reasonable time line would be 2 years down the line hence I have not stated that there are side effects...it is just too early to know...I sincerely hope there are none as those nearest and dearest to me have all had the "vaccines" because they are all one / more of the "at-risk" categories...I'm the lone person (in our family circle) not in an "at-risk" category hence my current aversion to be vaccinated...
Stay safe and healthy...

What you are describing/explaining is adaptive immunity. We are all born with natural immunity, that's what the religious refer to as your God given right, hence these folk think the vaccine is some product of the antichrist, and hence their opposition to taking a vaccine. Note, i am not accusing you or anyone reading this, of adhering to that view.
I have copied the following from an article :-
Adaptive immunity, also known as acquired immunity, is the third line of defense. Adaptive immunity protects an organism from a specific pathogen. Adaptive immunity is further broken down into two subgroups: active immunity and passive immunity. We will explore active and passive immunity.
What is active immunity?
Active immunity is defined as immunity to a pathogen that occurs following exposure to said pathogen.
When the body is exposed to a novel disease agent, B cells, a type of white blood cell, create antibodies that assist in destroying or neutralizing the disease agent. Antibodies are y-shaped proteins that are capable of binding to sites on toxins or pathogens called antigens.
Antibodies are disease-specific, meaning that each antibody protects the body from only one disease agent. For instance, antibodies produced when the body detects the virus that causes mumps will not provide any defense against cold or flu viruses.

Apologies for my incorrect use of terminology...in the context of this virus, by "natural immunity", I did mean acquired or adaptive immunity as you have described...with the exposures we have likely had in the past 20 months, that is more likely the immunity we currently have...

I have had both Phizer jabs and except for a slightly sore arm for a day after both jabs and a slight headache after the 2nd, I have had absolutely no problems. Figures quoted this am by my Dr, show that 98% of people now dying are not vaccinated. You are free to choose but definitely going to be restrictions on movement and where you can enter if not vaccinated.

The only reason I went for this jab is because my parents is elderly and they already went for it and if I want to go overseas I must have it I myself don't have much fate in it as it mutate every month. That's my 2c

Latest UK Stats with some 48 million having received ...1 shot and some 44 million receiving 2 shots, make mine a double.
Some 8000 patients remain in hospitals.

COVID-19: UK records 26,911 new cases and 158 further deaths - with 8,339 patients in hospital
The number of coronavirus patients in hospital has remained above 8,000 for nine out of the past 10 days, with the health secretary telling Sky News pressures on the NHS could trigger the government's "Plan B" for tackling COVID.

The UK has recorded another 158 coronavirus deaths and a further 26,911 cases, with the number of COVID patients in hospital now at 8,339.
The total number of people in hospital with coronavirus in the UK has been over the 8,000 mark for nine of the past 10 days.
Before that, the last time the figure surpassed the 8,000 mark was in early March.
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
On this day last year there were 1,106 COVID patients in hospital across the UK.
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
The number of patients in mechanical ventilation beds currently stands at 1,081 - the figure has been over 1,000 every day since the last day of August. Before this, the last time the number was as high was in mid-March.

The latest cases and deaths figures compare with the 30,597 infections and 201 fatalities confirmed yesterday.
Meanwhile, another 23,003 people had their first coronavirus vaccine dose, taking the total to 48,503,181.
A further 59,404 people had their second dose, taking the total of fully vaccinated people in the UK to 44,229,777.
The figures come as the NHS started rolling out COVID-19 booster jabs.
Over 50s, people in care homes, frontline health and social care workers and vulnerable people between 16 and 49 are among those who will be offered a third dose.
At least six months must have passed since the second jab.
The number of COVID patients in hospital has remained above 8,000 after the health secretary told Sky News pressures on A&E and increasing hospital admissions could trigger the government's "Plan B" for tackling COVID.
Sajid Javid made the comments as he refused to rule out another lockdown.
The health secretary defended not bringing in more stringent measures now, as set out in the government's winter plan for tackling the virus, saying vaccines, boosters and new treatments offer "a very strong" package of tools at present.
He denied the UK is in the same position as this time last year, saying the "big, big difference" is that vaccines are offering a strong line of defence against COVID-19.
Concerns around the number of hospital admissions in the UK come as the military could be called in to help Scotland's ambulance service which is facing "acute pressure".
First Minister Nicola Sturgeon apologised "unreservedly" for long waiting times and confirmed that targeted military assistance to help deal with "short-term pressure points" is under consideration.
Northern Ireland has asked for the Ministry of Defence to provide 100 armed forces medics to support Belfast City Hospital and Ulster Hospital in Dundonald.
The medics would be needed to help the hospitals deal with the number of COVID patients they are treating.
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
PS..
Maybe Bayern can figure out and xplain [ in English , not Deutsch ] why this day last year there were 1106 Covid cases in hospitals across UK.
And now the cases are 8000 per day with almost 75 percent jabbed.

@mikesack...default answer now is that it is the unvaccinated who are in hospital and the sole cause of the infection of and tranmission to the vaccinated...no-one has acquired immunity even though we have likely had exposure for 20 months...

Don't forget to buy booze today the shops close at 6 but wait you can go to any pub, bar, restaurant no mask needed what the fuck these okes are jokes. I myself will rather drink in a pub then drive drunk so that I can be an accident to happen because my government recons I must do so and just to be pulled over by the metro to pay a bribe and be on my merry way. Nee fok ek weet nie.

@ Mikesack, may i suggest you direct your query to the NHS:P.
My very humble opinion, last year this time, the world was not exposed to the Delta variant. This variant appears to have been detected in India in December 2020, and spread rapidly across countries as the predominant variant and twice as contagious as other/previous virus strains. Delta appears to be impacting younger people more now, that the previous strain/s did a year ago.
What percentage of the 8000 new cases per day relate to vaccinated people becoming infected?, therein might lie the answer.
If i had all the answers, I'd be very rich, but I'm not;)

@ tnaicker, I love you as a forum buddy, but come on how much more evidence do you want before you believe that taking the jab will strengthen your chances of not dying if you catch covid. 99 % of people dying now have not had the jab. People who have been double jab have caught Covid but are not even been hospitalised. The vaccine works.

Mr. Naicker, the manufacturers of the vaccines never ever claimed once vaccinated, one would be immune to COVID virus, where did you read that?
Right now, vaccines are the best defense against the virus - let altruism prevail.
it is your choice not to be vaccinated, and I respect that.
