Is there any chance of Galloptv getting an app. It will be easier to stream on Smart TVs and if you have the Mi Sticks, etc for non Smart TVs. The app will be similar to DSTV now, Showmax, Netflix, etc.

I miss the fixed odds scrolling. Now I have to use the cell or laptop to check the real time betting odds.
Racing has become more frustrating than usual.

You can use your cellphone to stream, check approximates and wager a bet pretty easily after you do it continuously. Samsung phones normally have two browsers. Chrome and Samsung itself. On one browser on Galloptv you can stream. The other you can check dividends. You can download Opera Mini and wager your bets from there. You can also use Dstv now. Dstv later this month will only allow one stream on any device per account.

Thanks Naresh
I am aware the punters are fighting a losing battle on scrolling fixed odds as 4RACING has to promote the tote.
However the punters had the best of both worlds and were used to this facility and if you consider what WSB put into the game, I think it's only fair to show both.
Admittedly it is normally embarrassing to show the both options as only on a very rare occasion to you find value on the tote.
Plus consider the more you put the less you get šŸ˜‰

Ps I feel the tote is for exotics and bookies for fixed odds

Singapore, Hong Kong, France and the UK. These countries only show tote odds on all their streams. Tellytrack's biggest mistake was starting the sponsored fixed odds. Now that they have taken back this bit, the onus is on 4racing to make the tote an attractive platform to bet on. Gold Circle, to their credit, tried the 1% rebate. Still awaiting on 4racing? No point forcing the tote odds but not doing any more to encourage tote bets. Might as well bring back the fixed odds displays then.

Would also add that there is no logic in watching the trend of tote betting as opposed to fixed odds bets with bookmakers.

As mentioned above why would a big punter take grands on his fancy at regular intervals watching his odds/payout reduced as he punts.

No disagreement Thor but R10000 in these markets they can absorb and have a different culture and no other option.
Not sure if it's possible for SA to get there?

Sorry notice you mentioned UK not sure how strong the tote is and will be interesting if we don't scroll fixed odds for Cheltenham

Just one for Naresh, re the DSTV - don’t you mean ā€œone device EXCLUDING the DSTV decoderā€?

You only will be able to stream from one device only. DSTV decoder will work as per normal.
