Jarryd has a fractured rib which caused an open cut on his liver.

Serino has a fractured spine and will see a specialist on Monday.

When first hanging inward did Olivia's Way carry Wild Intent on to On My Honour which caused the gap to close and hence the fall?

I think the NHA will be doing an investigation - hopefully it covers all aspects of the incident - still the end result was that 2 jocks ended up injured (also the horses might never be the same) - dangerous profession (where the horses have no choice) but the jocks decided to pursue a career fraught with danger to provide the racing public with entertainment

Update on Serino... No need for surgery. Still in trauma unit but doing well. Read out on course at Greyville.

THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED:
a) An inquiry will be opened into why SON OF RAJ (K Matsunyane) and MY BEST SHOT (R Fourie) were bumped and eased at approximately the 1800m.
b) Jockey C Habib (ATTICUS FINCH) did not persevere with his riding from the 300m. Thereafter, Jockey C Habib reported that he felt something amiss with this gelding in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine.
c) The Stipendiary Board have adjourned to investigate an incident which occurred at the 300m, which resulted in ON MY HONOUR (S Moodley) and SOLAR SAIL (J Penny) falling.
d) In view of the performance of MADISON VALLEY (C Zackey), (distance 24,50 lengths, betting 11/2), the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine.
e) In view of the performance of OTTO LUYKEN (J P van der Merwe), (distance 34,00 lengths, betting 14/1), the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine.
f) In view of the performance of PARISIAN WALKWAY (P Mxoli), (distance, betting 66/1), the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine.
g) MOCHA BLEND (T Godden), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
Trainer F Robinson advised (MS).
h) OLIVIA’S WAY (A Fortune), placed second, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
Trainer R R Magner advised (MduP).

Its almost as if they saying handicappers never got ratings wrong so it must be steriods
