Beaut of a ball bowled by Bumrah to bowl VD Dussen. I would have leant back a cut it for 4. (On the play station of course)

There have been a few unplayable deliveries but I suspect a lot has to do with the batsmen getting caught on the crease to the fuller length ball...

Elgar may have to bat till tea if SA to have any chance...cannot see that happening as the cracks have opened on the wicket and only a matter of time before an unplayable ball is knicked or cuts back for a bowled or LBW....

Will be over half an hour either side of lunch...:(

You called it, SA need to make a few changes. Leave the spinner out bring in Oliver and also leave out Mulder and bring in another batsman. Markram can fill in for 10 overs or so in each inning. Problem is if the wicket prepared is bowler friendly India have the bowlers to bowl SA out twice in the match. India have so many good players atm.

So wanted to be wrong...

Wanderers has more bounce so your changes makes sense...bright spots were Bavuma in both innings...will do even better when he gets his 2nd century...and Elgar who fought hard in the 2nd innings...
Ngidi brittle...so may not make it through next match if he plays...
Jansen was good on debut...
De Kock seems distracted...

Going from bad to worse. SA cricket in great turmoil. Smith and Boucher need to be kicked out, bring in Pollock and Amla. Make Kallis the batting coach, Ntini bowling coach and Gary Kirsten as head coach.

@cnc...the De Kock action on his part was coming...he was pushed regarding the BLM stance and I guess he wants no part of it...I found it funny watching a bunch of mainly players of European descent taking a knee and appropriating the Black Power salute...

Smith and Boucher made their beds (during their playing careers if the accusations of the hearings are to be wholly believed) and must lie in it but they have an idiotic executive to report to...just listen to Lawson Naidoo for a few seconds on cricket matters and you'll understand what I mean...on SA constitutional matters he comes across as very knowledgeable and is rightly the secretary of CASAC but in his cricketing role he pushes the BLM agenda and narrative...at the promptings of our local BLM cheerleader...Lungi Ngidi...who should ensure that he is fit enough to play more than 2 matches at a time before being sidelined...

I don't think many of the persons mentioned want anything to do with SA cricket...and your proposal is a little too not of African descent...next head coach must be of African descent...they will likely be the only persons okay with taking on the 5 non-White with at least 2 of African descent requirement for the team and not be criticised when not adhering to it...

I have gone from watching or following every SA match to not caring because we no longer solely strive to win...the team has become another political vehicle for advancing leftist narratives...they can drown in their mediocrity...and celebrate their self-proclaimed greatness...

Unfortunately politics will take precedence in all SA sporting codes for many years to come.Whilst the meddling continues the competitiveness in all our sporting codes will diminish as many sportsmen and women will just go off to another land to do what they do best.Sad indeed.
