With Oliver back in the team SA have a very good attack and will be even better when Nortje returns. I think that they are going to blow away India this morning with Rabada and Oliver taking 4 wickets each.

Sometimes I bite my fingers and express the same sentiments.

Once again Elgar over ruling his own call and allowing the bowler to bully him into a review which SA lost. Elgar clearly indicated that the ball hit the batsman shoulder which on review proved to be the case. That lost review will come back and haunt them later in the India innings.

Not a good start, maybe Janson with his extreme height will make proper use of this wicket. He will get extra bounce so w/k and slips must be awake

Cricket has in the past been tainted because of betting scandals which brought the integrity of the game into question, but hey let’s just stick a huge digital graphic or two of a betting company on the outfield. I am sure that the public have forgotten about all the bad publicity that it brought. Morals? What’s that?

Agree...not a good start...

Jensen just bowled a ball that bounced before reaching the wicket-keeper... ...guess the skidders may do better than the bouncers...length is key...

Was just about to post. Dreadful reviews by South Africa, hopefully it does not cost us but we still have one left. The umpire, Paleker, has been superb.

Medicore first hour. Ngidi bowled well and was unlucky not to get a wicket. One wicket after lunch and we into the lower order. Pant is going to be the key for them. Even if he plays a brisk innings and they get to 220 to 250, South African batting is only up to 6 and India will always be in the game. Hopefully South Africa can finish them off cheaply.
