Even a chase of 180 for South Africa will be tricky. They need at least 3 wickets by close of play.

In the next test, maybe Erwee to open with Elgar and the rest move one down. That means they have to drop a bowler. If they are not fully utilizing Maharaj maybe he can make way.

I think that Olivier has been fired up after Bumrah hit him, predict India will be 5 down by the close

I really miss them days my favorite was Charl Langeveldt for SA.

I only managed to watch bits and pieces of the game, Petersen must be given an extended run,Bavuma always applies himself and makes the bowlers work to capture his wicket, I alluded on this forum a couple of years ago that imo Markram is not an opening batsman in this form of the game, as he has to curb his natural shot making in order to preserve his wicket. I think Jansen has the making of a bowling all rounder, just a pity Nortjie is injured, he has the raw pace to trouble most batsman

Pitch flattening out does not equate to turning pitch. The Wanderers has never ever been a spinners wicket
