Tomorrow although they playing on the same ground, I think they will play on a new pitch but it will be similar to Fridays game.
Shamsi will make way for Maharaj in all probability. Jansen in for Parnell. Spin never play a role, who knows maybe all seam with Markram as a sixth option spin.
@TNaicker. Bumper morning with the tennis. The statistics do not lie about Djokovic, the best tennis player around and arguably maybe greatest ever. Tsitsipas did give him ago in the French Open and threw a two set lead.

@naresh...Djokovic the best returner I have seen and probably the best at getting the ball back in play one more time...will win tomorrow...likely in 3 sets...
His stats show him to be the best ever...would have had 23/24 Grand Slams already and had winning record against just about every player including Nadal and Federer...

You was right about Djokovic winning in straight sets. He was tense but he showed his class.

Scintillating performance by the Proteas to chase down 343 against England. Bavuma was in sublime form and made a splendid 109. Miller in the last 12 months or so has really matured to an imposing finisher.

Brilliant run chase yes England did not have their first choice opening bowlers but SA really played well. Brevis, Hendricks, Stubbs on the sidelines plus some very good bowlers waiting for their chance the immediate and long term future for white ball cricket looks bright. Put Miller in the test side and let him bat like he does in white ball cricket

SA missed a trick there having England 3/14 Small outfield gives SA a chance to run the 343 down. Top order has to fire

Bavuma looked really comfortable until giving away his wicket ..a few others also...got in, got a start and got out...
Should qualify automatically for World Cup...

how much of Tembas dismissal had to do with Reeza going at 55 60% strike rate in the powerplay yes reeza played alright but you have to share the pressure, klaasen was super impressive unfortunately Aiden through his wicket away like he always does Aiden use to be my captain in the u19 world cup and ive always loved watching him bat he has so much potential always looks amazing at the crease but if you look at his dismissals in the last 2 years he never goes out off a good ball he goes out playing a pull shot or goes out going back to the spinners he has seemed to have worked out a gameplan against the spinners now its the pull he has the potential to be the top 6 batsmen in the world i think the coaching staff need to back him a bit more and tell him we not dropping you you our future no matter what when he out there he looks stressed like he is going to get dropped if he doesnt play a good innings give him the freedom and from his side he need to cut the pull shot and getting bowled he easily goes at 100% strike rate and with the backing of the coaching staff i think he will start to convert he is our future batmen in all 3 formats
i remember sachin Tendulkar once scored 200 in a test match with out playing 1 cover drive.
sometimes your strength can be a weakness and your downfall seem to be that way for Makram at the moment. but hat off to Malan and Butler some serious experience and class shown on display

Malan and Buttler a class apart, while Archer showed why he is one of the best bowlers in the world; Proteas still very vulnerable and heavily dependent on Miller - when he fails, they are under pressure - yes Klaasen played well, rest of the batsmen need to realize that to be a threat, they need to buckle down (50 overs a lot of overs as Malan and Buttler showed) and not play well for 30 or 40; how England got to that total (217 runs in the last 20 overs) just shows how moderate our bowling attack is without Rabada and Nortje - for me Parnell and Jansen can't be in the same team and Shamzi should just retire to spare himself further embaressment
Proteas should still get into the top 8 (as the Netherlands surely can't beat them twice in SA - while Sri Lanka needs to play NZ in NZ) - but I do no have a lot of confidence in them reaching even the semis

Yes strange that they played two left arm seamers. Don’t give up on them yet because they are improving. England are the reigning world champions so to beat them in the series is a big plus. If Sri Lanka win one match against NZ then SA will have to play in the qualification rounds but SA first have to beat the Netherlands.

Ireland also has a chance if they beat Bangladesh 3 nil away and South Africa matches gets abandoned.
South Africa 2 matches against Netherlands is at Benoni and the Wanderers March 2023/April 2023. Hopefully these matches will not be affected by afternoon thunderstorms.
Sri Lanka could possibly win 1 match, maybe 2, so South Africa possibilities to qualify is not in their hands if other results do not go their way.

@bopp26...Bavuma didn't pick the slower ball and chipped to mid off...just a lack of concentration from him off the last bowl of the over...
Even the great Steve Waugh cut out some of his best shots to eventually average 50+ tests...
