Australia have been preparing for their upcoming test series in India by batting and bowling on a dusty cracked pitch in Sydney. Preparing properly makes the job easier. I won’t be surprised if the Aussies win the series.

South Africa 2 matches against Netherlands is at Benoni and the Wanderers March 2023/April 2023. Hopefully these matches will not be affected by afternoon thunderstorms.

South Africa have been deducted 1 point for slow over rate.

And a correction to my above statement. Ireland does play Bangladesh away but it does not count towards ODI World Cup qualification but Ireland will play at "home" in England against Bangladesh in 3 matches. A really possibility that Ireland can win 3 nil.

Good to see Zimbabwe playing test cricket, pity about the weather. Don’t why
the ICC can’t have Zimbabwe, Afghanistan and Ireland playing a few tests against each other to get test match experience before throwing them up against the top 8 sides.

SA should offer du Plessis the captaincy of the white ball side to get him playing for them from now through the WC and possibly u til next 20/20 wc He is world class

Pretoria happily saw to it that Durban failed to get through. I hope that Paarl now go on a smash Pretoria in the semis

Ingram bowled one, too, many. Did not have to. Migael Pretorius the seamer could have bowled.

Royals with have themselves to blame. They could have batted first. Unlikely their opponents could have chased their target in 12 overs.

Its a repeat of the same teams tomorrow.

Bat first and all likelihood, you win.

With the rain around, fielding first is far better so if DLS come into play, you know what revised target to get.

Paarl Royals have opted to bowl first.

Far better than the Big Bash which just goes on forever. Looking forward to the test series between India and Australia and also NZ v England which starts in a few days
