I watched the entire match. The wicketkeeper, Jafta, played some nice shots but got run out. It was the batters before that made the run rate climb though.

I can’t see SA coming anywhere close to winning the woman’s 20/20 WC. Australia, England, India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh all better. When you leave out one of the best players and captains in the world because she can’t run 2ks in the allotted time then something is wrong. No cricket player has ever run a straight 2ks in a match.

Really ecstatic for Shabnam Ismail. Got bought for $122k. Thats almost R2.2 million. She is one of the quickest women bowlers.

Marizanne Kapp got bought for $183k.

Other players with a deal are Chloe Tyron and Dane van Niekerk.

Interestingly Marizanne Kapp is married to Dane van Niekerk.

South Africa play New Zealand tonight. Hopefully they win or they will be out of the Womens Wold Cup if they lose in all probability.
