SA will have another World Cup winning team come today. Aussies are there to be taken. Kapp to be the match winner

Sadly not...but many others who can step up...Wolvaardt still there but needs to bat through and accelerate later...

In the power play I counted 6 great shots by Woodward’s that went straight at the fielders. A yard either side and this match would be looking very different

Throughout the tournament our batting in the power play was very sedate.

We put up a good fight to get to the final. Well done to the Women. Till the next time.

NZ beat England by just the one run in the 2nd and final test played in Wellington to draw the series 1-1 Now that’s what makes test cricket exciting, close finish’s not like in India where the pitches are doctored for the home spinners. Since McCullam took over England have played 12 won 10 and lost 2. There type of cricket wins matches. See ball hit ball. The Ashes this summer is going to be one hell of a series

Watch Elgar and Markram score runs in this test against the WIndies. The pressure is off both of them. Hopefully the pressure of the captaincy brings the best out of Bavuma and he too makes runs

The overall batting averages of Elgar,Vabuma and Markram are :
DE 37.51
TB 34.53
AM 34.05
For first line test batsmen I suppose these averages would be just about acceptable.
Our top batsman has declined to play any further Test matches and prefers keeping wicket and batting on the 1/day circuit.

A number of contracted players left out today. Van der Dussen, Harmer, Ngidi and Maharaj. The new comers have added pressure now as all 4 will now have to perform.
