There are 3/4 test series that excite most and one of them is India v Australia, but what the Indians have done is nothing sort of shocking preparing pitches that even 3rd team club matches would raise their eyebrows too. The cricketing public looked forward to the series but are left extremely pissed off (well maybe not if you support India)

South African fast bowling stocks are very good at the moment including back ups. In Test cricket our batters are letting us down. Rickleton deserves a chance. Elgar maybe its time for him to make way. Janneman Malan is also an option.

Australia are very canny with getting free reviews. Everytime when a spinner is bowling and the ball just misses the stumps the Aussie keeper attempts a stumping and they all appeal to the square leg umpire. The umpire then asks the 3rd umpire to check if the batsman was out of his ground. Fair enough but here is the twist. The 3rd umpire then checks if the batsman has been stumped BUT he also checks if the batsman bat had knickerd the ball and been caught. So the Aussies are getting a “free review” everytime

Markram is the new T20 captain. Bavuma out but no Brevis.

One swallow does not a summer make - but one does have to say the pitch was difficult to negotiate - only Markram stood up - and the West Indian decided to ride his luck and almost pulled if off.

How RIckelton can't make the side is beyond me - I'd pick him above all the middle-order batsmen - and he gives you the option of opening the innings, or as a wicket-keeper; now I read that he is not in 'competition' with de Zorzi, but may be preferred to Petersen

Also just saw that Nortje is out of the 2nd test

Bangladesh has just beaten England comfortably in an ODI :huh:
