Day 134 of the lockdown, as we hit another weekend.

Not really many highlights on the racing front but sure we can find something for a wee punt.

Hope you have a decent weekend and manage to buy a bottle of your choice at a heavy price.

If you find a bottle and a few friends maybe you can dance away your fears and thoughts?

It’s day 135 and just discovered it’s a long weekend, so we can also have a good Sunday night.

Some decent racing from overseas today: Haydock, Newmarket and Ascot.
Watched the football last night but can’t enjoy without the crowd atmosphere.

I see we are now trying to resolve problems in Zim as we have everything in place at home.

Is anybody actually happy with the progress being made by Government and Racing.

No idea when Cyril will make another call to break the bans and start a financial upswing.
Plus the BP and task team, what is happening? Who is in charge? Are we improving or falling deeper in trouble?
I am sure someone reads the concerns from “their” customers/posters and judging by posts we appear to be deteriorating from a customer satisfaction perspective.

Maybe let’s give it one last bash via a song for some transparency.
I really hope We Can Work It Out........

Day 136 and it’s Sunday and if you do have a job remember to take a break on Monday.

Not sure if you watched the Travers last night, or early this morning but TIZ THE LAW looks the real deal on the way to the Kentucky Derby.

Good racing from France today where Earthlight attempts to keep an unbeaten record but it won’t be easy. Zeyrek and Lazuli look hard to beat on a decent card.

Not sure if you have watched Secret World Tour from Peter Gabriel?

Well it’s time to Shake the 🌲

The Pres is still side stepping the crucial and critical issues which we, the ordinary citizens are facing.
Ace and his gang stride on relentlessly.
IMF on 27 July 2020 " You must report monthly on how the R70 billion loan is being used."
Cyril on 27 August 2020 " I am pleased to report its gone."

Day 137 and yes all the presidents men are still trying to control our lives.

It’s a public holiday and racing from the big T first 2 favs to get the punters off to a flyer.

I was fortunate to get a seat at the latest racing discussions and it appears changes on the cards.

Day 138 and a rather pleasant, long weekend is over but drink prices rather nippy.

I understand the President is going to speak to the nation this week?
He must be embarrassed about the corruption and we can also guess he will say “sorry about us taking your money but we will allow you to have a drink and a fag” Give restaurants and pubs a break to stay alive.
But who knows what other deflection tactics he has up his sleeve.

My daughter-in-law has shown me how to use Instagram, but you might see some pics popping up, I am not sure how it works and who to follow etc.
Fun times ahead.

I am going for a double song from Paul Carrack again to start the week.

The first can go to Cyril and the second just a nice song.
