I don't think in the history of test cricket has a change in momentum just been handed on a plate to the opposition without them even playing for it as happened in this series ... incredible.

Elgar lbw and not to review is a perfect example.

So the collapse begins. Elgar will be kicking himself for a long time

Zondo showing fighting character defending his wicket. They must give him an extended run in the team. Would like to see what he can do if he comes in at 180/3

No problems with the bowlers but surely there are 6 batsman in SA that are better than this shower. Boucher sitting next to his coaches with not a care in the world. Next time you watch any team batting you will see the head coach sitting next to various batsman during the innings. The sooner SA cricket get rid of Boucher the better for the team Bring in a foreign coach

Prior to Stokes and MaCallum taking over England had won just one test in 17. Now they have won 6/7

Always time for SA to have a rethink and come to the conclusion that Boucher needs to go

Proteas were outclassed - pure an simple - of course Elgar giving his wicket away did not help matters; but don't think it would have made a difference to the result.

Not sure about the coaching, for me especially the batsmen have hit rock-bottom; in years gone by we had Smith, Amla, Kallis and de Villiers (and even then we were not world-beaters, but could at least hold our own) - now we have to make-do with Elgar, Erwee, Rickelton and Zondo - so not difficult to understand how we lost two-in-a-row so badly; playing at home not that big a difference, but away from home, we really suck :(

Nothing wrong if they get Stephen Fleming (NZ)

Was hoping that Lance Klusener be the next South African coach but he has accepted the same position for the new T20 Durban Franchise.

If you look a the calibre of players that have retired from Test Cricket in the last 5 years .e.g Steyn,Morkel,Philander,Kallis,Amla,Faf D P. etc etc the you cannot replace them easily or quickly.
What is the status of Gary Kirsten who has a good coaching record at Test level
and was recently in the picture for the England job?
