I used to go to all the San Diego Chargers home games, brilliant pre match atmosphere and in 1994 they had a great start winning first 6 matches and reached the final only to blow it against the 49rs. Sundays were great as we went to the beach bars on Mssion Beach and watched the matches the whole day from 11 in the morning when matches on the East coast kicked off until the last match on the West Coast finished. It was difficult to get up on a Monday to get to work

I dont think so. Last couple of years was watching on those dodgy streams but now cautious as viruses are running riot.

I went to the Rose Bowl in Pasadena the day after the world cup final between Brazil and Italy. I swear that i could smell the atmosphere even a day after the match.

If anyone has an account with B365 or Sky, I hope you got the 90/1 and 80/1 respectively offered for DeVante Adams to be first touchdown scorer in the Giants @ Packers game. Was massive. Was my main reason for posting but prices now gone, around 12s now!
Quick (I hope) summary...
Patriots @ Browns - Brady back for the Patriots and hard to see the Browns seriosuly competing here, they have been pretty woeful to date. Possibly a little rusty with his arm so it may be worth looking at Blount to run in the first TD, 9s with Paddy Power. Amendola with 2 TDs from 9 receptions looks worth a nibble at WH's 22/1.
Eagles @ Lions - Eagles unexpectedly soaring and Lions yet to roar so, though I can see a Lions upset, have to go with the Eagles. RYAN Mathhews to run in the first TD at 10s with PP my choice. There are two Mathhews, JORDAN at 16s with WH makes some appeal. WH have some other "value" options, my two would both be from the Lions, 20s for the seemingly out-of-sorts Golden Tate and the 28s on Anquan Boldin (17 recs, 2 TDs).
Bears @ Colts - both struggling, just think Colts have the better QB and home-field advantage should see them victorious. Wide open as to first TD scorer, I've gone with Hilton. For value, having a nibble on Cameron Meredith of the Bears who is 50s at WH, with all the Bears' injuries, he might start.
Titans @ Dolphins - going for a bit of an upset and hoping the Titans 4th ranked rushing offence can make the difference. As such, going with DeMarco Murray to get the first TD, 9s at PP n WH. Some value options with Hills again, my main two being from the Dolphins... 40s on running back Kenyan Drake and 33s on receiver Dion Sims.
Redskins @ Ravens - the home team's defence is playing strong again and should be enough to secure them victory. For first TD i've gone with PPs 12/1 on Mike Wallace, but it was a toss-up with the 11s available on Terrance West. My value option is Ravens RB Kenneth Dixon who returns from injury and could feature, the 50s at WH make it worth chancing.
Texans @ Vikings - not sure but going with the Vikings who continue to do better than the experts seem to believe they will despite some big injury losses. Yet to fire with the rush but nevertheless I'll chance the 11s at PP for Jerick McKinnon to get the first TD, though Kyle Rudolph at 10s was close to getting the nod. Values... Vikings WR Cordarelle Patterson is getting a bit more of the ball lately so nibbled the 33s at WH and also chanced a bit on fellow MV WR Charles Johnson at 25s with WH.
Jets @ Steelers - have to be with the Steelers. With the Jets pass defence somewhat suspect, Antonio Brown at 8s with WH appealed for first TD scorer. The 16s also with Hills about DeAngelo Williams is perhaps generous. Values... small on Robby Anderson who is a possible starter at WR for the Jets making the 50s at WH worth a go... and very small on Steelers' TE Xavier Grimble, just think WH's 66s too big.
Falcons @ Broncos - think the Denver defence will restrict the flying Falcons and allow the Broncos to get the win. No clue really on first TD, gone with Anderson.
Bengals @ Cowboys - tight, sided with the Bengals. Again tricky with TD opener, gone with the 9s PP offered about Hill. The 40s offered by WH about DC WR Brice Butler is again too big imo and nibbled.
Bills @ Rams - battle of two defences, I give the slightest of edges to the Bills if only because I think their offence may be the slightly more potent. No touchdown is 80s with WH. For first TD I've chanced LeSean McCoy with little conviction. Marquise Goodwin of the Bills, at 22s, and Brian Quick of the Rams, at 18s, are ok prices imo, both at Hills.
Chargers @ Raiders - another could go either way game, preference for the Raiders but no surprise if its an "upset". Gone with Crabtree at 10s for firt TD but could almost have equally gone with the 9s with PP about Gordon of the Chargers. Hills priced up Latavius Murray who is the Raiders main running back but he is out injured and somewhat foolishly priced up DeAndre Washington, on whom the main running game responsibilities for the Raiders are now likely to fall at a massive 25/1. It was one of the main reasons for me posting but sadly they have now cut the price to 10s. They also have receiver Seth Roberts at 25s though, he has 3 TDs from just 10 receptions this season and I have also nibbled the 25s about SD's Tyrell Williams.
Giants @ Packers - the Packers are my team but I do feel they are always over-estimated, their defence leaves much to be desired imo and thus, although I have gone with GB, a Giants win would be greeted with a "knowing" sigh! Jordy Nelson has been in good form since returning and I've gone with him for first TD.
Buccaneers @ Panthers - the Panthers to start a road to recovery but if you like a gamble, the Buccs might be worth chancing. Taken the 11s at WH on CP WR Kelvin Benjamin to score the first TD.
I will do a few patents and small stake stake 4-6folds probably on the 1st TD scorers mentioned and a few other bets to make the evening entertaining.
if anyone bothered reading, hopefully you appreciate that like any other sport, you can study for hours and still draw a blank. There is nothing above that I really like but a bit like the idiot horse bets, they are not without hope
My main reasons for posting have now gone sadly. I haven't checked all the prices for the rest. If I notice anything similar in future weeks I will just highlight those and leave most of the waffle til later or completely!
Be(s)t of luck to anyone who likes to get involved on a Sunday night!

DeAndre Washington of the Raiders is now 10s to score the first TD, but he is still 25s at W Hill to score the last TD...

Good jottings Engles.
How did they go? I noticed Blount ran a TD in.At least the bookies lay a bet on sports.
The horse racing could be a thing of the past.

Cheers Dave. For some reson I didn't do Blount as a single (but included in my main patent! doh!), if I had done then I would have broken even, Nelson got the first TD for the Packers so the two combined gives 18/1 and if doing level stakes on all my first TD scorers that is plenty to give a profit, there being 13 games I mentioned and still one to play. So assuming tonight's is a blow out that is £5 profit for every £1 staked so to speak. There are weeks none come in but week two this year I was over £500 up and one week last season with the 1p 4, 5, 6s I showed a £2.5k profit. As with everything, it is not so much getting it right every week, it is hopefully getting a few right on the same week.
Williams scored the first TD for the Chargers in their game with the Raiders, that 25s would easily have covered all my bigger priced ones at £1 level stake, I did hit Washington in that game though and he was well involved but it was not to be. I can't monitor all the games but I know a fair few of the bigger priced ones were involved and if involved you have a chance. I know one of them had a 20 plus yard reception but was stopped on the one yard line, again c'est la vie but on another day...
Given there were plenty games I was not sure about and no first TD scorer I felt much confidence about, I would have been happy to break even (if I had done Blount) for the entertainment value and hope to win another day... it is worth doing imo and looking around for possible value, oddschecker a big help. As with everything I look at bigger prices but there are plenty other markets the more "astute" punter might want to dabble in. Having had two horses I liked in the past week have a saddle slip (16s) and a late scratching (10s), at least with Gridiron I generally get a run for my money!
