Slight correction...(lack of) power level 6...
We already have 4-6 hours without electricity daily...what's another 2-4 hours to the thieves??!!
Tongaat on KZN North Coast has water for a few hours every 2nd day...still haggling by thieves about extent of repairs required which influences extent of money to be stolen which determines which conduit to use to re-route money back to the ANC for bribes to be paid at elective conference in December...
There is nothing that the ANC thieves have not stolen or broken or sabotaged to excuse more frivilous spending of taxpayer money a.k.a opportunties to steal...

Exactly, nothing will happen, nothing ever does.

For the have-nots of auxiliary power, watching the Durban July meeting at home could be a challenge on Saturday.

The most mindboggling thing is that the worst affected will still support these psychopaths.

Won`t be surprised if these dogs attempt to disrupt the July.

.....even for the haves it is a challenge as even decent non solar systems are severely tested beyond 2 hours when one cannot get enough charge time between cuts ....as even top dollar Li ion batteries need 8hr+ to get to a full charge and are drained faster if not fully charged.....and thus one is increasing the number of cycles of batteries that are not charged fully and drastically shortening their life span.....a fully charged budget LI Ion 24V 100ah is around R12K and only runs 450w approx from a 1400w R5K invertor powering a TV 250w +decoders 100w some low wattage lights and laptop and phones 100w for 90 min tops.....guess I'm going to bed early.....:S

.....even with a decent solar system a 6 hour cut is now also a problem.....passed out during the extended black out last night fearing running any axillary battery back up after seeing the load shedding schedule for today....we were off at 6am until 8h30.....then according to the status quo of only getting back to "wage negotiation" today ....will get the big cut from 14.00hr to midnight ..... one would have to have in access of 10kva of battery back up....which equates to min 4X2.4kva batteries @R12K each and a solar array of more than 12 340W panels @3-4K each and 2 solar controller invertors @ R12K per pop.....but the worse thing about this is trying to find an installer that wont rip you off with shitty equipment a big promises worthless guarantee's no back up .....but a big fee and will never be seen again.... .

Even if wage negotiations were to be successfully concluded today load shedding will probably continue albeit on a lower level. More coal stocks will need to be replenished over what is required for generation.

And likely Chinese made...China pushing solar panels as the Western world gets hooked into the green craze but China building more coal power stations...and not subject to climate agreeements...
Some people are making a lot of money from pushing the green craze to China's benefit...

It’s kind of ironic. China using coal to generate electricity to make solar panels for the west to buy. Lol.

They likely have a few green "advocates", who fly on extremely fuel efficient, net carbon zero private jets  , on their payroll...

Its not ironic Mac. It's economic warfare. And the left are in on it.
