There is a chapter about South Africa in the book Freedom Next Time by John Pilger...about 20-25 years ago he interviewed Nelson Mandela and some of the transcript of the interview is in that chapter...very insightful about Nelson Mandela pre and post apartheid...

LUCKY LIBYANS....................

One litre of petrol in Libya will cost you R0,53 cents. This is why

The price of octane-95 gasoline is 0.15 Libyan dinar per litre, (about 53 South African cents), making it one of the cheapest in the world.

The price is determined by the National Oil Cooperation and it's subsidised by the government.

According to data website Logistics Capacity Assessment, the Brega Company, which works under the Libyan National Oil Corporation, is responsible for marketing the oil derivatives inside Libya through three companies – Alrahila, Sharara Oil Service Co and Oil Libya.

The three manage their own fuel stations in all the regions and cities of Libya, in addition to distributing and selling oil derivatives to the private and public stations, the vessels, aviation sector and the consumers from public corporations, economical units, factories, national and foreign companies.

Although Libya is an oil-producing country and has the largest oil reserves in Africa, most of the local market’s fuel is imported from the international market.

This occurs due to the internal conflicts and security situation in the country which causes frequent suspension of the oil field and oil refining works.

Diesel has not been available most of the time on the market since the beginning of 2018, according to research platform Logistics Capacity Assessment.org.

According to Statistics Time, Venezuela has the cheapest price of petrol in the world, at $0.02 (34 cents) a litre.

Among the countries with the top 10 cheapest fuel prices, five are in Asia, four in Africa and one in South America.

Hong Kong has the most expensive price – $3.03, followed by Norway.

The feedback from the ANC in KZN was very disturbing.

Support for Zuma and dropping the step aside rule just shows that the comrades want to carry on with their illegal ways.😪

Best outcome would be total collapse of the ANC but that is unlikely.

Will be interesting to see what the other provinces do - according to some analysts this could mean that Cyril is vulnerable come the National Conference in Dec - but I'm with Muhti - hopefully divided they fall ;)

I try not to watch the news but the number of murderers, shootings and the horrific gang rape are reaching insane proportion.

The various court cases pending and delayed are madness, nothing ever gets put to bed.

Riots on service delivery continue ......

Not to mention our born leaders making policy decisions...

.

Let me have a look at the race card 😪

In ref to the "twat with the hat" if I was asked to do a sketch of a gangster that is exactly what I would draw.

In a Kevin Bridges show he says if he was asked to sketch a picture of what a Pedo would look like it would be similar to Jimmy Saville

What were we thinking in these days 🤔

"twat with the hat" -- get your children and grandkids to "study" for a teacher's diploma; then they also can become a minister of something or other in the current government

Amid public calls for his sacking, Police Minister Bheki Cele has now allegedly been implicated in the 2010 Fifa World Cup tender saga by one of his top cops.

Deputy police commissioner Francinah Vuma, who was suspended last Friday, has reportedly handed over a 22-page dossier to the authorities that suggests Cele played a role in the accommodation scandal.

The dossier, dated 7 June 2010, bears Cele’s signature, which had given the greenlight for R47 million to be spent in order to secure accommodation, among other things, for South African Police Service (Saps) officers who were deployed during the World Cup.

.....if it looks and talks like a thug....then it must be a thug.....

...they stopped being a force a long time ago, Muthi...they are now a "service", whatever that means. That's why we are in this mess.
